Project management at the electricity works of the canton of Zurich
“Without digital assistants, we would hardly have been able to cope with the current demand for the self-consumption check in a reasonable amount of time.”
Your specialist for digitization in customer service
“When it comes to digitizing customer service, the main challenge lies in evaluating the data. These are visualized directly in Reportheld and prepared for the customer. ”
The energy consultants of the electricity works of the canton of Zurich (EKZ) have recently started using the business app Reportheld for consultations.
This makes customer conversations easier, more transparent and more efficient, because data can be processed and visualized directly during the conversation. From January 2018, the groupXS app will accompany the EKZ energy consultants in their daily work. A test version has been successfully in use since October 2017. The energy consultants of the Swiss energy supplier use the mobile business app Reportheld for their consultations. With the app, all customer data can be recorded, processed and analyzed in real time. This makes it possible to work out optimization measures together with the customer during the consultation that contribute to reducing energy consumption or optimizing self-consumption from photovoltaic (PV) systems
The EKZ supply around one million people in Switzerland with electricity and, with around 1,400 employees, are one of the largest energy suppliers in the country. New in the advisory portfolio: the “Self-consumption check” service. Together with the customer, the energy consumption of the household is analyzed, compared with the performance of existing PV systems and measures to optimize self-consumption and self-sufficiency are derived from this. Thanks to Reportheld, this is now easier, faster and more efficient. “Our time and resource savings are enormous,” was an initial assessment by Daniel Bauer, EKZ product manager.
“In this project, Reportheld is being used for the first time in a live consultation with the customer,” explains groupXS managing director Sebastian Schmidt. “That’s why we paid special attention to the simple and intuitive operation of the app, and made sure that the user interfaces are understandable for the customer at first glance.” High-resolution graphics and interactive tables in the Reportheld iPad application illustrate complex structures and make the recording of the energy data tangible for the customer as well, “because in this way a comprehensible result can be worked out with the customer,” says Schmidt.
